THE POSITION
We are currently looking for an experienced, ambitious and motivated Recruiter with a drilling operational background to join the Area HR Team. The primary responsibilities of the role will be:

Attract and source suitably qualified candidates in support of current and forecasted, manpower requirements,
Research and develop and implement unique resourcing strategies to support manpower requirements,
Build networks and relationships with all internal and external potential recruitment resources,
Take a global view on manpower and ensure the company has a joined up view on resourcing requirements (i.e. awareness of worldwide downmanning and upmanning situations,
Screen, evaluate and conduct interviews of potential candidates,
Recommend shortlisted candidates to Country, Operations and Rig Management Teams,
Provide dedicated and experienced operational support and input to the Area HR Team

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION:
Hold an advanced degree in development, economics, natural resources management or any other relevant field for development planning, natural resources management and/or assessing the O&G industry (e.g. Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, Legal, Biology, Social Sciences among others)

EXPERIENCE:
Have at least 8 years of proven experience in the relevant field.
Knowledge of climate change mitigation/adaptation activities and/or carbon financing would be highly advantageous.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
