LASPOTECH POST-UTME 2010/2011 SCREENING EXERCISE

(A) ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

All candidates who chose Lagos State Polytechnic as one of their choices of Institution and those that are interested in changing to Lagos State Polytechnic and scored 180 and above in the 2010/2011 UTME.

(B) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;

(I) JAMB/UTME Result Notification Slip must be presented at the screening centres.

(II) GSM, Calculators and other electronic devices are not allowed.

(III) Parents, Guardians and other unauthorized personnel within and outside the Polytechnic will not be allowed at the screening centres during the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.



(C) PROCEDURE FOR POST- UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

1. Candidates are expected to make a payment of N1,000 (One Thousand Naira) to eTranzact or to Pay4Me using e-wallet* at any bank (excluding bank charges).

2. Upon making full payment, candidates are given a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for purchase of Post-UTME form on-line.

3. Candidates are advised to visit the Lagos State Polytechnic website i.e.www.laspotech.net and follow the steps below to make payment on-line and print out the screening slip.

(i) Click on the “2010/2011 Admission” link at the left hand corner.

(ii) Click on “proceed to Application Form”

(iii) Click on “start a new Application”

(iv) Select type of programme i.e. Post-UTME

(v) Thereafter, complete the “Basic Data Form”. Ensure that all items marked (*) are completed

(vi) Next, click on “Continue”

(vii) Select the means of payment applicable i.e. e-Tranzact or Pay4Me.


4.For applicants willing to pay through:

(a) e-Tranzact;

I. Go to any of the designated bank to pay for the screening excercise.

II. You will be issued a confirmation order and receipt numbers by the bank.

III. Go to the Laspotech website: www.laspotech.net

IV. Select e-Tranzact.

V. Enter the confirmation order and receipt numbers then click “Continue”.

VI. Complete the application form as appropriate.

OR

(b) Pay4Me;

i. Go to www.pay4me.com and register for eWallet.

ii. Go to any designated bank and load your eWallet with money.

iii. Go to Laspotech portal, check the radio button for Pay4me.

iv. Click the radio button for eWallet and then click on continue.

v. Enter your username, password and answer to the security question which was entered when registering for the e-wallet.

vi. Click on the pay button.
(Note:Candidates should have balance greater than or equal to the amount of the order being paid from the e-Wallet attached to his account).

vii. Click on print user receipt to print the receipt.

viii.Click on a button called confirm that payment reflected.

ix. Complete the application form as appropriate.



5.You will equally be required and prompted to upload a colour passport photograph of NOT MORE THAN 20kb in size.

6.Read and accept the attestation, cross-check your entries on the application form, if okay Click “submit” application form.

7.Print out your Application Form. You will be required to present this at a later date, so keep it safely.

Please note that the deadline for submission of form is 12 midnight, Tuesday 27th July, 2010.

8.Log on to www.laspotech.net for information in respect of the date, venue and time of the screening exercise.
